Top 10 Reasons to Attend HHCS

The mission of HHCS is to provide a community-oriented, free public K-12 school. We enable lifelong learning that reflects and shapes Hyndman and our surrounding areas. Here are 10 reasons to send your student to HHCS:

1. Together, we strive for high academic achievement and a high rate of post-secondary continuing education. Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in our graduation rates, our many students who are prepared for careers, and our students who go on to thrive in and persevere in college, universities, and vocational schools.  Many of our students earn their way into the Bedford County Scholastic Hall of Fame, too!

2. At HHCS, we extend the conventional K-12 classroom teaching and learning boundaries by including varied educational endeavors, employing multiple mediums and locations, and modeling and promoting lifelong learning. This includes our work experience program, VOC tech partnership, dual enrollment courses, and online classes.
